Justin & Kasey's Wedding

Besides me getting laid off from my job of 28 yrs....a lot has been going on lately. My son Justin and his fiance Kasey got married on June 28th. Kasey always wanted a beach wedding and so they had the ceremony on the beach at Harkness Memorial State Park (where you are not allowed to swim either...how crazy is that!?!) In this photo Justin couldn't get the ring on his finger....explains the face he's making and Kasey laughing.

Let me play fashion announcer here for a moment....Kasey was escorted down the sandy isle by her mother, Kathy and her twin brother, Chris. Kathy was wearing a beautiful light sea green dress with silver lace overlay (even though it appears white here...it's the beach, colors get washed out in that harsh light), while Chris had on a light blue polo shirt and kacky knee length shorts. Kasey was lovely in her strapless white wedding gown with bling on the bodice (you'll see that later), smiling all the way!
I was not emotional at all until I saw Kasey. There is something about seeing a bride coming down the isle that just gets to me and of course she is very special to me!

The happy couple after the ceremony.

Fashion announcer again: The mother of the groom was wearing a navy blue tiered dress in flowing chiffon, accented with a bit of bling on the shoulders. The groom was wearing a white polo shirt with kacky pants. And boy was it hot on that sand!

The wedding party.....all smiles posing under an unusual tree on in the park. But why is Pam looking up??

Photo bomb!! An unknown man in the tree was interrupted while carving his and his wife's initials in the tree. He actually climbed waaaaay up over everyone's heads so normal pictures could be taken and then asked if it would be ok to photo bomb the last shot. I didn't get his name but he was quite a character. He would have fit in with our gang perfectly. And of course we told him to go ahead and do it!!

This was part of the Harkness Park too. They hold receptions inside this beautiful building that resembles a castle.  Of course it was far too expensive for the likes of us!  lol

There was tons of happy dancing going on at the reception, which was held in Enfield. Stacey executed a perfect photo bomb here....caught me completely off guard.

Stacey obviously had a ton of fun at the reception....as did the rest of us. I danced so much I missed the cake that was handed out. Don't worry, I managed to find some and take it home with me. It was delicious too!

Aaaaaawwwwww....aren't they cute? And here you can see the bling that is on Kasey's dress too.
They honeymooned in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for a week following the wedding.
