Easter 2013

Justin and Sara demonstrating the chocolate bunny I gave KC.

Oh Sara, not the bunny!!

There are no words to explain why KC looks like this....really, no words.

Justin trying to steal Kaylee's eggs.

Do you people realize there is an odd blue bunny thing walking down the wall?

Easter pig pile on Mark!!

Game Night at Justin & KC's House

These are pictures from our first game night at Justin and KC's house. Hopefully there will be many more game nights. Good game; good company; good times!

My son. He has no shame when it comes to being funny.

KC demonstrating how she learned to fly.

This is Bunny being invisible while taking pictures. Ha! Gotcha!

Jake can't fly like KC but he was really good at this game.

Sassy has a fetish about hair. Sassy is the one trying to look innocent here.

Li's Brothers Chinese & Japanese Restaurant

Anne had a coupon for Li's Brothers Chinese & Japanese Restaurant in Longmeadow so we thought we'd check it out. It was an enjoyable time with friend and family but the food was nothing special. Anne and Bunny used the restroom and said there was mold growing around the toilet. Ewwwwww! I still think I should have gotten a picture of that!

The funniest part was trying to understand what the waitress said every time she spoke to us. She just kept getting a blank stare from me while I tried to process her version of English. In fairness to her, she seemed to have a blank stare every time we spoke to her too so I guess that makes us even.

I think the Li's Brothers need a new line of business.

New Britain Museum of American Art

The day after Valentine's Day was taken up with an after hours party at the New Britain Museum of American Art. The evening was set up with free wine; beer and snack foods with the ticket purchase.  They had two DJ's; a belly dancer; palm reader (didn't show) and rooms full of unusual, artistic, fun loving people. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening.
The art was fabulous and intriguing, causing me to think about the meaning; appreciate the talent and envy the ability of the various artists. (yeah, I have envy in my soul)

This particular display was made entirely of plastic cups! It consumed the major portion of one wall and   trailed up another wall on to other displays on the second floor.
This piece was hanging from the central ceiling area.
Unfortunately this is the best shot I could get of the belly dancer. Yeah...they had a belly dancer! I just couldn't get around all the men to get a better shot.
The awesome downstairs DJ....my favorite of the evening. Danced all night downstairs because of the techno music he was pumping out!
This was my very best favorite piece of art. Awesome! I'd love to meet the artist and pick his brain.
Something wholesome and calming about this painting.
 Lovely work.
Dark and inspiring this one caught my eye immediately. It's one of those paintings I'd love to step into and explore for awhile.
